How to create Tween Shape

By tweening shapes, you can create an effect similar to morphing, and make one shape appearing to change into another shape over time.

  • First draw a rectangle into the stage

  • Select the frame 10 and right click the mouse to select Insert Keyframe

- In the frame 10, draw a cycle at the rectangle:

Select the frame 10 and right click the mouse to select Insert Keyframe

- This will display the frame panel; select the shape from the drop down list:

Play the movie and you will see the rectangle changing to cycle:

  • To create the Motion Tween, you must convert the object to symbols

  • Select the object and then choose insert, then click on convert to symbols

- Then choose the graphic and click OK

- After that, select the frame 10 and right click the mouse to select Insert Frame

- Then choose insert menu then click on create motion tween

  • Select the object and drag it to the right or anywhere

  • Then the timeline will be as shown below:

- The Motion Tween has been created

- Play the movie and you will see the cycle moving to the place where you have moved.

-The Movie Explorer provides an easy way for you to view and organize the content of a movie and select elements in the movie for modification

- You can use the Movie Explorer to do the following:

* Search for an element in a movie by name

* Display the properties panel for a selected element to perform modifications

* Find all the instances of a particular symbol or action


- Choose window menu, then click on movie explorer

- This will display the Movie Explorer:

- Scene 1 got two layers. Layer 1 contains the sound, symbol 1 and text.

- You can modify the text by double clicking on it

- The Library window allows you to store and organize symbols created in Flash, as well as imported files, including sound files, bitmap graphics, and QuickTime movies.

- Choose Window menu , then click on Library.

- This will display the Library Panel:

- Select a symbol and drag it to the stage.
